How do I get rid of the reminders which fly in from right screen every time I open a page?

On topic - lyndal I also noticed some notifications surfacing again nearly 2 months after I had deleted them. That's when I decided to ignore the bell.

I've never had reminders fly in from right screen. Ever. Or top, bottom or left for that matter.

The bell is up the top and is usually orange, but it is not intrusive and I ignore it.

All the notifications are in the notification section of my 'All Selling' page anyway. Which page is my landing page.

That could make a difference, possibly.

Huh???   My bell is plain old black and always has been.

Looks like ebay are giving all of us an individual buying experience....different coloured bells, the ability to delete items and have them remain deleted (or not).

My current whinge is that ridiculous Shopping Cart which never works.

When I try to put anything in it I get the message that I cannot add to the cart.  The cart shows as having 34 items in it but when I try to access it the message pops up that there is nothing in there.

Then when I go back to my watch list and click on the item I am trying to add to the cart I am told that it is already in my cart....and round and round we go again.

It was particularly annoying tonight when I wanted to use the 20% voucher to buy some DVDs.  I had to buy each one seperately and pay immediately.....hence I could only buy 2 items.  If I had used the cart I could have added up to 10 items and used the voucher to its fullest.

When I tried to use the voucher on another ID I got the message that it had already been used twice.

So ebay has saved itself some money but they have annoyed a buyer and lost a seller multiple sales because the silly cart is useless.

Sorry - it is black, but the number of reminders is orange. Same thing from my perspective; easy to ignore. And nothing flying across the screen.
