Hi,
once the seller uploads a tracking number to Ebay, you can click on the tracking number in your purchased items list to track it.
Cheers

If and when you get the tracking number, this is a good site for worldwide tracking :-

Further to what the others said, if the seller doesn't upload a tracking number, you won't be able to track it. Depending on where it's coming from, or how it's sent, it may not have tracking. If it's a small item, the seller might send it as a large letter, which doesn't have tracking. If it's coming from overseas, some postage options don't have tracking.
If it's been posted, check in your purchase history and if there is a tracking number, it will be under the actual listing.

Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately when I go into Purchasing history it says I have no purchase, however, I paid by Pay Pal and the money has been taken out of my visa account to cover the cost of purchase + freight. I had a response from the sender who has advised that once he has sent it to ebay then he can no longer track it.
I am very cross that someone from ebay will not acknowledge my emails and get back to me
Once again thank you for your response.
Kind Regards

It sounds as though you have bought from a seller in the USA or the UK and they are using the Global Shipping Program.
The seller sends the item to the shipping facility and from then on they have nothing to do with the item.
It will be packaged and sent via the GSP and you will get a tracking number when it is on its way.

Please phone Paypal, ask to speak to a supervisor, have your transaction number ready to quote to them and sort it out from there.
BTW, you are talking to members like yourself here not eBay.

If you go to the sellers sold items, can you find your item there? I'm wondering is eBay may have removed it, in which case it wouldn't show up in your purchase history. If you can't remember the sellers name, find the email that told you you had bought/won the item and their ID will be in there.

That's why I always put the item in my watch list,(that way it can always be found, even if eBay remove the item).
What it a scam prone type of item?
Eg: small electronic devices which are listed well below their true value.
