I have asked the buyer to cancel the order as issues have come up in money but the have not replyed to my messages

Technically you are supposed to pay for whatever it is you won. You could ask the SELLER to cancel transaction but they are well within their rights not too and if you dont pay they can open a non payment dispute against you. Sorry , but really its not the sellers problem.

Only the seller can cancel a transaction.

Have you given them sufficient time to reply to you?

Just give them time to get back to you.  If you have been as impatient with your seller as you have been in this thread they may just ignore you.  Not everyone is at their computer 24/7.

The seller needs to send a request to mutually cancel the transaction and you need to agre to it to end the transaction.

Have you contacted the seller at all and asked them to send it?

Unfortunately your money problems are nothing to do with the seller. It is very difficult to believe that in the few hours between your purchase and the time most people would have paid that suddenly your situation changed.

The seller may let you out of the transaction but like many sellers they may not see any justification for letting you mess them around.

If they don't send a mutual cancellation request then they will most likely open an unpaid item dispute when you will either have to pay up or accept the non payment strike ebay will apply to your account.

I tend to be a difficult seller in that type of situation and think " Too bad, so sad. "

All of you purchases are very cheap items from Chinese sellers with free postage & all but 1 were buy it now.The only auction item was 10c.

JMO but the seller would be well within their rights to open an unpaid item dispute & not mutually cancel whichever purchase you made.
