I have placed a bid for an item in Queensland that was for pick up only in error PLEASE HELP

I have placed a bid for a washing machine that is to be picked up in Queensland if successful, but unfortunately I placed the bid without realising the location as I am in Victoria.

Could you kindly assist with notifying the seller of this error and retraction of my bid.

Joanne,  we are just other ebay buyers and sellers like you NOT ebay staff.

you need to make a bid retraction yourself, now, otherwise you'll be liable for the payment of item.

If there is more than 12 hours remaining on the auction, you are able to retract your bid. To do this, you need to use the bid retraction form: http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?RetractBidShow 

If there is less than 12 hours remaining, you can only retract a bid within one hour of placing it, but the seller is still able to cancel it, so in that circumstance, you need to contact the seller, explain the situation and ask that they cancel your bid.
