I think i should double check a sellers ACTUAL location instead of reading their "allegeded" location!

Can i take this up with Ebay at all? cause this has to be some dishonest stuff

If you have received a counterfeit product, then yes.

If the seller misrepresents their location in a listing, aside from ticking off buyers that intended to purchase locally or what have you, their listings can be reported, and they can potentially lose both money and item all together if there's a problem.

Did it arrive via Aust Post or China Post? If it arrived via China Post, then hit them with all you've got. Is there anything on the box (apart from not being able to read it) that indicates it's not the real thing? If it's a genuine counterfeit, then you should be able to get a refund without having to return it as you are not allowed to post counterfeit items through Australia Post.

Not sure whether you'd be best opening a PayPal or eBay dispute. One of the more experienced members should be able to help you with that one.

I asume you have the product  as sheep says you should be able to tell were it was sent from =country,

I also asume this product is available all over the world ,so that packaging would be right for the chinese comsumers ,

if it came from australia it could be a grey-import or a fake,  if it came from china it coulld be original or a fake.

also do you know wre these products are manufactered  from  there is a high chance they are made in china, just like most tech products are made  microsoft  and co,  you would some how have to prove to yourself if its the real deal , good luck
