I bought 4 x pairs of baby socks (each was one auction) and the postage from VIC to NSW was going to be $10 per pair. They 'discounted' it from $40 to $30. I asked a few questions and was given the okay to send my own pre-paid, pre-addressed 3kg bag (which cost me $11.70). Now they are refusing to put the bag in the post & want me to arrange collection. I"m in Sydney and they are in Melbourne.
I copied the part of the correspondence to ebay customer complaint.
(quote) Please organise some else to pick up this item and post it to you. I am sure you have experience with ebay and you know some people make extra money on postage just like i do. I will accept the plastic satchel but I am sorry I will not waste my time walking / drive to post the item this for nothing. Let me know when you have find the person to help you to post the item Thanks (end quote from seller)
Has anyone got a response from customer support about unfair behaivour/ bad service/ postage pirates?
note: I looked up their house on google maps and there is a post office less than 1km from their home. Love google maps.

By using the eBay services, you agree to the following terms with eBay.
While using the eBay services, you will not:
Without limiting other remedies, we may limit, suspend or terminate our service and user accounts, prohibit access to the eBay services, delay or remove hosted content, and take technical and legal steps to keep users off the sites if we think that they are creating problems or possible legal liabilities, infringing the intellectual property rights of third parties, or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies (for example, and without limitation, policies related to shill bidding, conducting off-eBay transactions, feedback manipulation, circumventing temporary or permanent suspensions or users who we believe are harassing our employees or other users).

I like that you have responded on here. I always thought there was more to the story. The thing that made be first think something is not right is the slippers being called socks. Kind of misleading everyone to start with.

Are you serious? More to the story?
Yes! How about the fact that the OP was shilled on all 4 of the auctions which caused them to already be paying more than they should have been?

Kazbar please tell more about this shilled bidding. How do you know this is what happened.

Thanks Belinda - I appreciate the kind words. There was definately more to it than was represented on here.

Have a look at the OPs feedback.
Then have a look at the feedback and sales of the person who has left them 3 of their feedback comments.
You will see they have both sold to and bought from each other.
If you look at their ended listings you will see they have an awful lot in common such as both selling similar items off after their father passed away, they both own the same table with the same table cloth on it and take photos at the exact same angle on said table.
They are also very common bidders on each others items (often bidding on 20-30 of their items at a time).
There were more listings available to look at yesterday but I suspect ebay ended them overnight (we can only hope anyway)
If you look at the completed listings for the "socks" you will see the same 49 feedback member features prominently in each of the bidding histories.

"Have a look at the OPs feedback." - Oops :8} sorry that should be "have a look at the "sock" sellers feedback

Always two sides, but the issue really is shill bidding as Kazbar has pointed out 'numerous' times with still no response from the seller of the socks/slippers.
Seller may well find themselves on the receiving end of sanctions as many here may well report this.
