I purchased my item 03Jul22-paid via Pay pal on same day-order marked as "posted" on 06Jul22-still has not arrived. Purchase page not visible on Ebay-no tracking numbers furnished by seller-delivery address is correct-seller in same country and state-messaged seller numerous times with no response-item number reads now as "invalid". Seller feedback indicates others have had similar issues. At this point i most certainly feel ripped off and the " more actions" tab on the purchase page does not include "i didn't receive it or i want a refund". Seriously irritated and dismayed that an unscrupulous seller is allowed to continue operating on the platform. Really need clarity on getting ebay to step in.

You have changed the drop down menu to cover when it was purchased?
You have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to open an item not received dispute , eBay will not help after that
you paid by PayPal, so you have 180 days to open a dispute there
It does not tell you what state the seller is registered , only the country
You do not need to send a seller numerous times
Open a dispute within the time limit
What was their feedback like before you bought from them?
Currently 26 positive and 12 negs for one month
I doubt they will be staying 'in business' too much longer
Hopefully the other buyers opened disputes while they were able

Another buyer who has not even taken the time to read the buying guidelines.
The onus is on YOU to open a dispute within the time frames given by Ebay - generally you can open an Item Not Received case one day after the last estimated date of delivery.
The onus is on YOU to check out the seller, including where they are registered and what their feedback is like. Most of us would run for the hills if we saw a seller with so many negatives.
The tools are all there at your fingertips, if only you bothered to use them.
Your only option now is to open a case in PayPal and do not close it until you have a refund.
Paypal is ending for buyers at the end of this month, so you will need to be aware of what to do if things go wrong as you will no longer be able to fall back on them.

You replied to their feedback in the past month, but bought the item in July. The seller knows you cannot leave feedback for them any more, so what your wrote in your reply "Prior to leaving a negative feedback I would like any update you have" won't worry them too much. You only have 60 days to leave feedback. Replying to feedback is different, that's why you could reply.
Open a case in PayPal ASAP and stop communicating with the seller. I think that's all you can do at this stage, but you should win the case.

Really? I thought it would end in July 2023, and I still hoped they could reach an agreement for a new contract.
That's really annoying.

Apologies - quite right, although I did get this recently, so they're definitely winding up their services.

Yes, there was a thread about discontinued returns some time ago. I never had to use the free returns service. Let's see if I am going to need it next month...

It's a darned shame Jelly, I use Paypal for a lot of payments outside eBay as it's easy and secure. I'd guess I'll probably be rethinking my purchases on eBay when they do cut it out as a payment option, and I don't believe I'll be the only one.

Yes Padi - it does.
I think what is ending is the ' refunded returns '.
