Item listed at $20 previously sold for $1

I'm looking for a good quality pen stylus so I had a look at this one ...

As it was $20 I thought I'd read some feedback to see if it was a good quality item, and it was also a bit puzzling how they could sell over 1000 of these for $20. Anyway when I checked the sellers feedback on this item I see that all the people who bought it paid $1

I am a little bit confused about this. Is there something I have missed?

The seller appears to have changed the Buy It Now price on 22nd January, for the first time since listing the item (first revision was during April, 2013, so they've been available for $1 for a fairly long time).

It's possible it was a loss leader and they've decided to stop using as one, though a $20 item for $1 over several months and 1000+ sold seems like a huge loss. They may also be out of stock and have raised the price to try and avoid further purchase without ending the listing (which helps retain rankings in search results).

OK thanks for checking,  I though I was going a bit mad. I know that good quality ones do go for that price, but it's just too weird now. I think I'll just get a cheap one for now and go to a proper shop later.
