Ordered a knife sharpener in Jan 2013 from Niceforu365. Item has never been received; at various time tried contact seller.
To add insult to injury, I noticed the following feedback, NOT provided by me:-
Thank you for an easy, pleasant transaction. Excellent buyer. A++++++. 15-Feb-12 12:16 Seller: niceforu365(287407)
Totally dishonest. What can I do next and what are my options.
Have asked for my money back, or send me a unit with postal tracking. No ansewr received.
Best regards.,Tom.

The seller has left you +ive feedback.
A lot of seller have feedback set to go as soon as payment is received.
It can be seen you have not left them any by viewing your feedback left for others.
This was done months ago so why worry about it now?
All they have done is added to your FB score.
Did you open a dispute for item not received?
Did you contact the seller to let them know you did not get your item?
Why did you not leave them neg feedback if they did not refund or send replacement?

Thank you for all the comments. Am still very new to this eBay buying!
Did contact the seller in February, and several times since.
Have learned my lesson, it was on $32, but am still pissed off that they ended up with my money and me with nothing.

tom when you use paypal you have 45 days from the date you pay to open a dispute for items that are not received or not as described.
Do not let it go that long in future.
Do not let a seller give you any excuses to go past that time period either.
40 days is enough time to wait.
Do not pay with bank dep as there is no buyer protection with that form of payment.
There is lots to learn so do come back here if you have any problems as there is lots that will help you when need be with advise.

Thanks Sparklz! Good advice which I will take onboard.
Reason it has dragged on for so long is that I have been away intermittently for the last 8 months and had other priorities at the time.
Certainly will be a bit more vigilant with my next purchase.
Thanks, Tom
PS I paid with Mastercard through PayPal. Do the same rules still apply or should I have gone back to Mastercard?

CC though paypal is great.
If PP will not help then you can go to your bank and do a charge back which you might still be able to now.
Contact your bank and tell them what has happened and they will be able to help you 🙂

Some credit cards allow chargebacks up to 12 months after the transaction while some only have 3 months.
And some banks will not cover 3rd party transactions.
You need to ask your bank, but do it as soon as possible.

That is odd.. I have bought a few things from that seller and never had anything go missing, and they were always helpful with enquiries
