I was trying to pay for an item that was listed as a “make offer”, I received the counter offer from seller and was satisfied with the price, but there is no feature for Accept or Decline, so I can’t purchase at present, what is the problem? it’s a thorough nuisance. Thanks

Always a nuisance, but should know better.

Regular members, like the OP, should certainly know how the site works. Michelle is not a newbie, and is a frequent inhabitor of the boards. Where, regardless, is has been explained ad nauseam that Fridays are glitch days. At least for a rolling hour.
And that is the point - it's not a blanket issue. It is a short-term issue for any particular member.

Or not as a nuisance as I said but “A spanner in the works” I don’t know if I know better but hey! we all have our little crosses to bear don’t we.
Still it worked out in the end, seller was paid and I’ll get my purchase, mind you I had to contact Ebay about it to see if they could fix problem.

Hey Michelle, I have been a member here for years and I didn't know about the "Friday Glitch" or if I did, I had forgotten. Other folks wouldn't be aware either and if someone forgets then there's no problem. If they post a question about it then there's no problem in what they are doing.
You asked the question .. .. .. "I was trying to pay for an item that was listed as a “make offer”, I received the counter offer from seller and was satisfied with the price, but there is no feature for Accept or Decline, so I can’t purchase at present, what is the problem?" .. .. .. and as a result, others reading here are now more aware.
You got your item and seller was paid. Good one!
Good on you!

4C, I find it almost inconceivable that you've been a member for nearly 20 years, yet can't recall that Friday has always been "maintenance day" on eBay. It's probably been mentioned on the boards hundreds of times over the years.

Tell me about it mate! Then again I forgot that I was supposed to meet my girlfriend at a certain time once. She let me have it. I tried to tell her that I was chatting to this old guy about camera and clock etc., and couldn't get away from him as once he started talking that was it.
But hey, thanks to the helpful question by michellebartley, I now am aware. I can't double-kudo her for that so one will have to do.

Thinking back now michellebartley, this same thing may have happened to me some time back. I do recall some offers I made but they didn't register in my Bids/Offers section. I think I just shrugged it all off at the time as I was busy with other stuff. I just talked to a mate who has been a member for quite a while and he didn't know about the "Friday Glitch" thing either. So it was a definite valid question you asked and once again others reading here are now more aware. So thanks for that.
