I'm not speshul either, mine is also spend $50 to get $15 off. Problem is, even though my version of the app is the latest version, supposedly with all the bells and whistles, you still can't combine postage. I have way more than $50 in my purchase history ready to pay and around $75 more with current bids on with the same seller, but they are multiple items, so can't use the promotion anyway. Maybe I need to update my feedback on the app to mention how it's not new and great because you still can't combine postage.

I thought it was a good offer, quite a saving . I have had some really nice plants iv been watching for a few months, $75 +$25 post so I snapped them up and am quite happy
mind you im always sure the app uses more internet so prefer the standard ebay ,I know on my phone it uses heaps of data if I peek at ebay.

I'm not suggesting there is anything wrong with the offer, because there's not. The problem I have is, I never buy anything at a single price over $50. While I might spend $2-300 in a single transaction with a seller, that's for many items between $1 and $30. As you can't combine postage using the app, I won't be able to use it. If I try to pay for my purchases, it will only let me pay 1 at a time.
If eBay is eating a lot of your data and battery, install Avast Battery saver on your device (it's a free app). You can see at a glance which apps are draining battery and data and kill them (they restart when you reopen them). I've found eBay and Facebook to be the biggest drain on both battery and data (dropbox is a battery drainer too when it feels like it).

That is a problem , pity the seller cant do one listing for you with the items you want as that may be the only way around it I think. May be worth asking if items you want are buy now and not already purchased.
That app sounds good will find it as I already have avast security and they are good.
thanks for that ...

Dont you use cart on app Tippy?
While combine postage is a fault on app, it is easy work around by asking for an invoice and paying that way, easiest way in my books

thanks for sharing this bakeandfry. so I installed the app, well it asked if I wanted to switchwhich I did on my iphone. I can't see the offer written in my home page and not sure where to see any confirmation of the offer on the phone app. I don't want to spend $100 and find the $25 discount doesn't work. any hints where I can see if this has worked?
I clicked on the link from the discussion boards on my phone, took me into itunes and upgaded, looks different but unsure where to see I've qualified.
