Hi
I bought a pair of shoes and the only postage option was Express Aust Post $15. I bought a 3kg one of these last week and it was approx $14
Anway I received the tracking number for my item and it was in fact sent standard post. Apparently express post satchels have gone up to $20. Can a seller just change to what postage they want? I wanted the express post as I would have received it today

Wow skippy. Thanks for that information...about all stuff from perth going by road. I suppose its the same story sending stuff from east to west. What a farce...express means express....jilly

jilly, most Express mail goes by air, but apparently not from Perth to Broome. Why do you think that there is a Dangerous Goods Declaration on Express mail packages? If that is not filled in then the package will go by road, no matter where it is going.

patchoo, I made that mistake of sending regular post instead of registered once, because, i was in such a routine of doing my packing & own postage from home [stock up on the packaging and stamps etc pop them in a post box along my travels.]
I was very lucky the guy accepted it as is and said to keep the balance as a tip because, he was so impressed with my quick despatch, safe packaging and recieving such a rare book. He left postive feedback and a five star rating.
BTW, The OP hasnt checked in, so, i dont think anyone knows for sure if the OP recieved regular postage or not.
