Payment being processed for almost a month! Seller also not responding.

So I paid on the 10th of March and it has been almost 2 weeks and he hasn't responded to any of my messages about when the payment will be processed or what's going on but the worst part is I paid via gift card, $150, I tried to tell eBay to step in but the say "Sorry we can't open a case for this item", which is stupid because I basically lost $150 and that guy didn't reply either, I can't open a case because I apparently 'Haven't paid'.

Please I am seeking help rn I don't know what to do or how much longer I should wait

Did you pay by Paypal with the gift card ? 

What is the item number, RHS halfway down the listing page ?

What is the status of the item on your purchase history?

You also really need to read up on the protocols for both buying and selling on eBay before you go much further.

You were way too quick with your neg feedback to a seller. So long as you follow the rules and use the tools that eBay have put in place you can protect yourself.

If you did use the GC through paypal you can check your PP acct to see if and why the payment may still be pending.

Good grief......you are very loose with the truth in your post.

You paid on the 10th March which only just into the 12th day.....not 2 weeks and certainly not almost a month.

If you want help you need to give accurate information if responders are to assist you.

What sort of gift card did you use and how much exactly did the item cost?

I don't know if it is the same with all gift cards, but I once won one and was able to log in to a website to check the balance just by entering a number and I think pin that were on the card.

If you are able to do the same, you should see if the payment went through or not.

Also a good way of finding out if the gift card actually had any money in it.

For what ? It was a Gift Card and the OP said a case can not be opened because the payment has no been succesful
