Paypal not an option?

I've been buying and selling for a while and I thought that it was compulsory to offer paypal as a payment option. Has this changed? I just bought two items and when I went to pay the only option other than a bank cheque, direct deposit or money order was paymate. I had never heard of paymate before this, so I'm reluctant to join up for that as well as paypal.

Arhh just found that it changed in July.

Lol, yeah i bought a couple of items a while ago then realized that the seller only accepted Paymate or bank deposit 😮

I just used Paymate, i didn't have to sign up with them, you transfer via credit card or i did anyway via Paymate.

But if things go astray, i think you have to pay a fee to put a claim in with them.
