It looks as if the item is going from Q'land to SA - not a very direct postal route .Even when posted between major cities 3 -5 days is often the norm and these two look as if they may be in the back blocks of the states.I recently sold something to someone in WA and they were good enough to tell me that it could take up to a week to get there so not to worry if they did not leave immediate feedback !! I have always thought postage stars were unfair anyway,as it seems a lot of buyers do not take into account that nothing is posted until payment has cleared, do not look at posted icon on their purchase and do not check the date of posting on their parcel, then give 0 stars for slow postage !
If something is that urgent she should ask for express post but have overheard postal employees say that it is often no faster if it is not going say Melbourne central to Sydney central.
This newbie buyer should do more research into buying on ebay and will withdraw her feedback if she has any decency.
The seller also needs to think about what she replies - a sob story does not go down well when people are purchasing and assume the seller is doing it to make money. Nor are they interested in "my computer broke down" "my best friends fathers fathers grandfather died" - just keep it polite and professional !
