Posting with Private Feedback

So many people complain, or call people "trolls" if their feedback is set to private.

They assume, you have no idea what you're talking about, therefore, shouldn't have to the right to voice an opinion.

Why don't eBay just remember everyone's number from showing on the boards? Just have our usernames and "show listings" viewable.

I want to clarify something - I usually don't see members misbehaving by ganging up on an OP or posters very often. There are differences of opinion, personality clashes and so on.

That doesn't mean nothing bad happens, I just don't see personal attacks etc taking place all of the time. I don't dispute or deny anything that anyone in this thread says. I think there is better supervision in a day care centre than there is on the boards so some members think it's okay to make life difficult.

I agree deja - I will target a troll any day of the week and twice on a Sunday as the saying goes, but I do not, and will not target someone simply because they have disagreed with me or disliked something I have said.

Discussions are just that, discussions, and I think it would be a very boring forum and a very strange world if we all agreed with one another all the time.

That being said, once I have made a point I consider it is over it is done and I will not rehash the past for the sake of it, where is the point in that?
