Hey everyone.
I bought one item and invoice added two.
Seller sends renewed invoice with one item, but every time I click to pay for it, it comes up as pay for two items.
I can clearly see their invoice says one.
Check out says two.
arghhh, I have never seen something so frustrating. Especially when seller acknowledges the error then opens an upaid item dispute against me.
Hello???? We both agree to the error. I am happy to pay for one if checkout would only apply one.
Not fair. I will cop an unpaid item against me when it wasnt my fault.
I asked seller to cancel item then start again...
But now I am sick of the trouble it has caused and don't want any..
Truly disappointed sellers are so stubborn these days. I have been on ebay since 2004.
It's **bleep** now. I cant even add two pics here to show you...I can only add one...why bother

sellers are reluctant to cancel because it takes far too long if the buyer doesn't answer, buyers are still able to feedback and sellers risk getting defects. It's just easier all round to do an non payment.
You could ring ebay and tell them you are having problems, they may be able to help.

Are you using a computer or a phone?
The phone app is notorious for not being able to handle invoicing. If you DO have a phone and can't use a real computer, try logging into the 'classic site' option at the bottom of the mobile site, NOT the app. Do a search for eBay and go from there. The app is good for 'ca-ching' when something sells and little else.

If you do get a strike, providing you don't already have one or don't get another within the next 12 months, it won't affect your ability to buy one bit. It's only when you get 2 in 12 months that you might come up against seller blocks that prevent you from buying from them. A seller can't see if you only have one strike, so only you would know.
If you've never had a strike before, you can ring eBay and ask them to remove it. They will often remove a first strike as a courtesy. The other option is, pay for the 2 and then list the other one on here to sell. You never know, you may even make a few bucks profit!

totally agree, had a cancelation this morning, just the day it was due to be paid. and was surprised it said 10 days before fees are returned, another grab for our money. Hoping the lady does do the cancelation.

hunni yes. I did actually use the APP. And this is the last time I will.
It was bouncing all over my screen.
I live rural, so I have really poor recpetion. The day I purchsed the item via the app, I did so, because I hade no internet at home.
I walked through the bush to find reception on my phone.
I ended up getting a non paying mark against my name even though the seller cancelled it.
I am fed up with ebay.
I am a really great buyer, I support a lot of Aussie ebayer, but now it's easier to go to a general store. Save all this hassle.
Thanks for your help.
