Question about postage time..

On the 27th of last month I purchased a CD.. When it was still not marked as posted by the 31st I thought I would look at the listing as it was quite unusual to not have been posted by now..

I saw on the listing that they had a postage time of 10 days after cleared payment..

I know it was up to me to read the postage time before buying, but do I have any right to mark down their postage stars, or would that be rude considering it was in the listing?

I won't wait until it's too late, although it's not that concerning cos it's only an $11 CD.. I should have just checked the cheap section at the music shop, but I thought I would get it cheaper on eBay..

True 'super' ,  but I sell some large heavy items - doesn't take me 10 days to lift them up and put them on my packing table :^O

I was not thinking about lifting things; I was thinking about lady I know who is in a wheelchair and she used to try to make bit of much needed money, but was unable to get to  PO herself, she depended on people to post for her, so she used to have in her TOS that she posts once a week.  Sometimes the person who supposed to post her parcel would let her down, and it would take another day or 2 to get the parcels out.

At the time I asked about the reason for 10 days dispatch, I did not realise the CD was being dropshipped.  🙂

So the item still hasn't been marked as posted. I went to send them a message to ask when it had been posted and I got redirected to their FAQ page which had this:

Most books and CDs we sell are despatched directly to you from the US or UK.  Typically delivery takes 3 to 4 weeks, occasionally longer, from the date of despatch.

The date of despatch of your order will be shown in your eBay account.  Usually your order will be despatched within 2 to 3 working days of you placing your order.

The eBay listing page will show an estimated Delivery Date - country/regional/WA addresses can take 1 to 2 weeks longer.

We use Australia Post for delivery of all our shipments and do not use a tracked service.

The listing said that they would be posted within 10 days of payment not 2-3

There is no date of despatch showing in my purchase history so I have no idea if they were posted within 2-3 days or 10!

I should have just bought it at a shop!
