On 10 April I ordered an item for $62.88, order 09-08493-13143, but was sent the wrong item. Started a return on 22 April. The seller agreed the wrong item was sent, but never provided a shipping label. They claimed, without proof, they are sending me the return (postage?) by mail. That has never arrived. I asked the seller repeatedly to provide a shipping label but have been mostly ignored. Ebay has sent me several messages urging me to mail the return. Still no label was provided. Ebay somehow believe that the seller has provided a method of return? A few days ago a print return label button appeared. When I clicked the button a message appeared claiming I would receive a refund. Nothing to substantiate the refund message, like actually receiving a refund. Was it placed there to run out the clock? Today, 10 May, the return was closed. No shipping label. No refund. No button to ask ebay to step in. There has been no way provided to communicate. Big waste of time and I am still out of pocket.

Try live chat if you want to talk to eBay - go to the help page, scroll down to "contact us" and go through all the options until the live chat window appears.

Where is the seller actually registered?
Go to their feedback/profile page for this information.
If the seller is registered overseas, they cannot issue a label.
If you paid via Paypal that would be your next step.
Please update us.

I used papermoon.lady's solution, thank you. I have now been granted a refund. The seller is based in Australia so they should have been able to issue a return label. It is disappointing that a live chat is apparently the only way to now escalate issues? It is also unfortunate that this is not made clear by eBay. It is confusing that a page came up declaring that I would be getting a refund yet no refund transpired from whatever mechanism opened the page. This has been a waste of time and I still need the item ordered. Thanks for your thoughts. Warm regards, sdealy
