Why are there no options in Returns for "I want to change the Size, I Love the product,  I just need to change the size" ? Huh?

The returns option in eBay as I understand it is when a buyer wants a refund or there is a dispute.

If you want an exchange and happy to pay for postage then just contact the seller to see if they have your size in stock and happy to exchange.

That would make the buyer at fault as they chose the wrong size,(can't have a buyer being wrong on eBay

so no size change option).

With the new returns that eBay wants to introduce that type of return will just become a change of mind or

remorse return where the sellers shoulders the postage costs both ways.

Their "blurb" is:

67% of shoppers review a retailer's return policy before making a purchase*. So, you don't have to offer 'change of mind' or 'remorse' returns on eBay but we think you'd be mad not to.

In fact, our data indicates that when sellers who haven't offered remorse returns start offering 60 day, seller paid returns, they can expect to see on average a 47% increase in conversions*

No idea where they got that % info from,(maybe from their targeted survey where you only have a choice

of certain answers that seem to always suit them),

I've always found the gloves to be the standard size and the only way they might have mucked up the size is

if they previously bought an inferior glove from China,(who's sizes can be all over the place).

Still the best golf gloves I've ever worn and they are still getting plenty of use, good.gif

Returns

On this topic but a different scenario,I returned an item and it shows as delivered 10 days ago on AP site but it still doesn't show as delivered in the return case opened.

So does the seller need to mark it as returned within the case for eBay to realize it has been returned?

I thought that if it showed as returned in AP the it would also show it in the case details.

And surely the seller should have refunded me by now as eBay said it could take a week for the seller to refund once the item is received by the seller.

Me thinks the seller is stalling so I should just contact eBay to step in? Yes/No?
