Hello, i bought a skirt from ebay, turns out it says sample on the tag. This wasnt specified in the title. Can i still wear the skirt if there is pen on the tag?

I am not sure what you mean by a pen on the tag but there is no reason that you can not wear a Sample. Many manufacturers sell off their samples at the end of the season or even during the sason if they decide not to continue to see that line.

many many manufacturers send all their samples to Op Shops at the end of the season, or when the samples have been sorted and ordered.... so yes, of course you can buy an wear them

They mark the tag so u cannot return the item to the store. if it is a sample the seller doesnt need to state that in the listing it really doesnt make any difference to the product

It doesn't matter what is on the tag, no one is going to see it when you wear it, are they?
As for the fact the tag had writing on it, my reaction to that would depend on how it was listed.
If it was listed as new with tags, I would be very annoyed to find a tag cut or written on if that had not been shown in a photo or mentioned in the listing.
Sometimes people by new items as gifts and they might not want something that looks as if it could have been a second or sale item or in some way, not standard.

springy, I totally agree with you!
I mean, It's seller's job to spend hours scrutinising every minute particle of the item they are selling, wash, mend ,iron as well
then list every detail of it - and after they did all that sell it - more often than not for a fraction of the price!
Otherwise - I can totally see how all customers would be very annoyed.
