Seller being very inflexible, refusing to send item at my expense.

Bought an item pick up only which I did not realise. Accepting my mistake and contacted seller to give me his address for me to send him a prepaid satchel. He just refused to send it to me and says pick up only. Item is 1500kms from my place.

Why would you contact eBay?

You were advised on the very first page, and several times after to contact the seller and ask them to cancel

I'm sorry but you come on a member to member forum, are given advice which you ignore and then say you 'did'nt know' ................kept hounding the seller, again advised what you need to do and just keep going and going and going

You do know because it has all been explained to you over and over but you seem to just want to keep playing games and keep laying the blame on the seller

I have followed people's advice and ask the seller to cancel. (yesterday) Maybe with few days delays as I am at work and busy. I do not play games, too old for that. But thanks for your help.

Still learning to navigate through the many messages.

Didier.

Yes, I have paid straight away through Paypal. You're right I did not read the information, my fault.

Have asked the seller to cancel....waiting.

Thanks for your help.

Didier

I'd rather spend $206.95 + postage and get a brand new one from mwave (one of the official distributors of this SSD), or even $239 from goodguys, than $200 for a used one from a zero feedback pickup only seller on eBay. Just saying.

Yes, you are probably right. There are a few things I wouldn't buy from ebay, full stop.

That includes most electronic items, a lot of stuff from China, and shoes unless I already knew the brand and style.

But that's me and everyone is different and it doesn't really help didier with his current problem.

And I bet he'll be very wary with ebay ads from now on.

Be interesting to see how it all pans out. It may turn the new seller off selling via ebay too.

I believe it's going to be sorted out with the intervention of Ebay. (Nice lady) Seller is going to cancel.
