Seller cancelled sale because he didn't get the price he wanted..

Hi,
I won a bird cage that had been constantly relisted after no one bidded and then I won being the only bidder when the price was reduced. The seller has cancelled the order and sent an email stating that he won't sell because he didn't reach the reserve price. Can someone please let me know what to do next. I know I can't make him sell to me so would like a link to report him and details on if I can leave neg feedback. Thanks all ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't waste your time reporting the seller....ebay will not do anything.

As you already know you cannot force the seller to send the item to you....and he cannot have a reserve on a birdcage on ebay Australia, so that is a porky too.

You certainly can leave negative feedback.....something along the lines of Seller refuses to complete transaction as price too low.  Just don't mention disputes, reports or anything that may give the seller a reason to have it removed.

Jut a thought before you leave feedback....if you think the seller may relist and you wish to try again, perhaps do not leave the feedback just yet.  You have a full 60 days for that.  The original non purchase can still have feedback left even if you later go on to buy/win the item and are happy with the purchase.
