Seller doing the dodgy on me

I bought an item a couple of weeks ago, and when it hadn't arrived or marked as posted 7 days later, I contacted the buyer asking if it had been sent. Seller said it had
I received the item today and it is postal marked as being sent the day after I contacted her.
Postage was also outrageous, she charged $4.50 and postage was $1.20. I didn't question it at the time of purchase because it is a breakable item and I thought it may have been well packaged. Not so.
In the end I have left her neutral feedback (in reality it probably should have been negative but I believe I may need to take some blame)
She has left feedback for me saying that she refunded the money due to it being 'lost in the mail' which it wasn't and that I should be made to pay registered for purchases.
I have now noticed that she has placed a bid on one of my items, which I find strange given that they are old train magazines, and she only bid on one, and the lowest priced one.
I sent her an email, asking why she stated that refunded me when she did not, and asked her whether she has bid on my item for payback.
She has responded to my email simply with a 'boohoo'
I've sent the email to ebay but how can I stop her bidding on my item and leaving me bad feedback?
Can I get her feedback she left for me as being her buyer removed? How?
Thanks
B

for starters, you can ask eBay to remove the feedback she left for you as it is a false positive.

You can add her ID to your Blocked Bidder List.  Once you have done this you should cancel her bid.  She should then be unable to bid on your items.  Should she bid using another ID you can have any feedback she leaves removed as buyers are not allowed to circumvent bidder blocks by using another ID.

So you got the item in the condition you expected at the price you were willing to pay. But because it took a while you have trashed her stars, presumably.

If that's 'should have been negative', what do you do with a seller who really stuffs you around?

Not the first time they have done this (19/01/2010), they sound like a real piece of work. Whole heap of false positives removed too. Surprised they aren't NARU by now, well I tell a lie, they are a high volume seller so I'm not really surprised at all *rolls eyes*

Yes that postage cost is totally outrageous. What was handling time for the item? and what makes you believe you may need to take some blame?

I agree with this comment.

I don't care how a seller packs my items even if I pay $20 over actual postage (because this price is stated UPFRONT)- If the item arrived safely, then I have no right to be annoyed or angry.

Why do people feel happier when they cause maximum harm to another? Harm might be a strong word but it appears a lot of customers are only happy when it costs sellers more to do the same thing.

I guess a neut for the seller is understandable for late postage but it is in no way a "should have been negative".

Regarding the possible retaliatory purchase, see how it pans out, if that person gives you a neut/neg contact eBay by phone and they should resolve it quite quickly. Very unprofessional of that seller to be doing that, they should own up to their shortcoming.

Of-course, people have a right to be angry if they pay amount that suggests the item will be properly packed and posted as a parcel, only for it to arrive in an envelope for fraction of what they paid.  Just because, by some fluke, it arrived in one piece is no reason to say it is OK to take the chance with MY item.  To say that if the buyer wanted safe delivery they should have paid for registration is also total nonsense; AP does not cover breakage due to inadequate packing.

Definitely report them and have that FB removed.  🙂

To clarify, the reason I said that it should have been negative but it wasn't, was because I'm well aware that I should have questioned what the postage and packaging would have been prior to bidding.  I didn't, I presumed given that the items could break that they would be sent with care, I was wrong, so I'm taking some of the blame for that.  That's why I left nuetral and not negative.  The postage cost was outrageous, but sometimes you don't know that until the item arrives.  She very well could have spent $3 on postage and $1.50 on packaging, but she didn't, she spent $1.20 on postage and maybe a 30cent envelope.  I thought that you weren't suppose to profit from your postage.

Her description of the item was nothing compared to what arrived and I now see that many other people have had that same problem.

I should have researched the seller more, but I didn't, so I left nuetral feedback.

FYI, she is now sent me emails stating that she will bid on my items and leave neg feedback or she will get her friends to.  She is also going to report me for having a fake address, which I don't, and she is going to tell my neighbours that I'm a creep.

She also asked whether all of her lovely freinds in the discussion boards helped me or not.

She is also harassing me through my Paypal private email address.  She is reporting me to the ATO..............I could go on

I have sent it all through to Ebay, what they do now is up to them, I just hope I don't have to fight for some uneccessary negative feedback to be removed.
