Sellers don't have product.

I have had very few problems until recently buying from ebay.....recently I've found numerous sellers taking my money but not actually having the product....so then I have to go through the process of asking for my money back and so on....they take your money that day but then you can't get it back until you go through all the hoops of dealing with them and then paypal. I used to be very happy to buy from ebay and the very occasional problem was resolved without to many problems. But more recently I am finding I am having many issues with sellers either just taking my money without having the product or sending me an inferior product and then making it very difficult to resolve the problem......EBAY...why are you allowing your buyers to go through so many problems of late...your losing customers and although I have been considering becoming a seller....now I'm so sick of having to fight to get my money back that I am about dont bother with ebay altogether. What the hell is going on???? I see these sellers still selling the item they say they no longer have while having to fight to get my money back....it's all going to **bleep**. I'm a bit amused by the bleep considering all I said was c r a p.

When they say they don't have the product are you opening an item not received dispute and then leaving them a neg with only one star for each DSR? If you and other buyers do that then they will soon be unable to sell to buyers who bother to look at the feedbac, I have little sympathy for those who don't.

It is by no means just Chinese sellers, there are plenty of Aussie sellers who do the same. There used to be some excuse for not cancelling listings if stock ran out before replacements were available as sellers lost their search rankings but now they can opt to leave them listed with 0 available.

As as seller, I have had this happen, The way i run my Ebay store is out of a car Dealership, and if people around me dont tell me that they sold the last "so and so" then i am honestly none the wiser to know if it is here or not, I have had things sell that i have not had in stock and i have Politely emailed the buyer and explained the situation.

Alot of people are very understanding when this happens. Sometimes i do run out of stock and can get more in the next day, so a friendly email is sent to explain and 99% of the time people are very understanding.

I do issue refunds on the spot, or for them to use the money on other items they may be interested in.

To me, your problem OP sounds like alot of chinese sellers that are taking your money and holding out on you.
