I must admit that I'm sick of seeing the same item from the same seller re-listed for up to 5 years long. I just can't understand how some sellers have items up at rediculous prices and the same listing has appeared for over 5 years. Don't ever tell me the seller has mulitple items, as they don't, they are just so greedy that instead of pricing the item at roughly what it should the just have it ongoing.
I think that eBay should allow an item to be listed only 5 times at the same price and after that it can not be relisted as eBay is fast becoming the home of online shopping of grossly overpriced garage sale junk !

marty , My father would do something like that .He always over values (incredibly so ) what he has and is incredibly stubborn about not taking less than he thinks he should get ....hence his unwanted stuff ends up sitting around .

Wow ..that was informative the-kazbar ๐
I was directing the OP to a very similar thread so that they could read others opinions on the topic.
I would have thought that much more "informative" than hearing about your Dad ๐

Some items I have had I had 50 of.
I purchased a bulk lot of 3500 items and there was many duplicates of 30, 40 and 50 of some so as one sells I click relist.
So I am NOT reselling the same item just another of the same.
I would not be happy if I could only list an identical item 5 times when I had so many to sell.
Most have been sold now as there was NO limit on how many times I could sell the same item thank goodness.

the-kazbar , I realised why it was added and I was and am in agreement with you ...I didn't really need to say anything else.
I didn't find all of the thread a pleasure to read and know about...that's all

Thought I saw a thread about this a while ago, but just trawlling through a regular search I do of a particular music artist today brought up the thought again especially when just about all of the items have been there year in year out. If all this overprice rubbish was to be removed then there would probably only be 10 items to look at opposed to 100.
The solution to that is really simple. Put a price cap on your searches and you won't even see the items at prices you don't want to pay.
