Stores selling stuff they do not have!

There seems to be stores on ebay that are selling stuff they do not have and never intend supplying.

When you buy from them they simply take your money. After waiting the advertised max delivery time and querying they simply return the money.

The part I purchased is still listed even though they returned my money saying sorry can't ship....

Ebay can you please shut these operators down and clean up the act?

It's not a single individual selling the odd thing, it's a store taking who knows how much money(free credit) from the public! All sanctioned by you ebay.

You really need to read up on how eBay works.

If the seller can't ship and they are overseas, it is likely their postal service is currently not shipping to Australia. Something to do with something called Covid.

If the seller is domestic and a dropshipper, their supply line might be cut at the moment. Probably due to something calle Covid.

With current interest rates, I doubt they are making money from holding the proceeds of sales that they end up cancelling. Also noting that there are non-refundable costs, even if they lie as to the reason for cancellation.
