I am unable to purchase something from a store because it is saying this
but thing is i am not using a PO box i am using my home adress in sydney ?
what is going on???

Possibly it was because you joined yesteday and all the details etc have not yet been verifyed or have gone throught the system. Also, some sellers want "Newbies" to contact them 1st. Give that a try and see how you go 🙂 Hope that helps a little ? 🙂 🙂

You can also try clicking on the 'Pay Now' button to go to the checkout, double-check your address, and change it if you need to - it may just be a formatting error that eBay is reading as a PO box, and by going to the checkout you can verify the postage address is 100% correct.

How can they go to checkout if they have been unable to buy? Go to your account details and check that your primary postage address is entered correctly.

What verifications do you have?
A lot of sellers (foolishly imo) set blocks for buyers who have low feedback and no phone verification.
Most issues can be resolved by either getting verified OR attaching a valid credit/Visa, Mastercard debit card to your account.

Are you using the shopping cart? If I put an item in my shopping cart from a seller that won't send to a PO box, I have to change the address before I checkout, but if I go straight to the listing instead and use the "Buy It Now" button, it goes through fine - that's assuming they haven't put a manual block on PO boxes.
I understand your address isn't a PO box, so it shouldn't be causing this issue, but just in case, you can check your registered postal address by going to My eBay > Account > Addresses to view your primary postage address (the registered address and postage address on file can be different).
If it is still causing an error or issue, I would suggest that you contact the seller to explain the problem, and ask that they try adding your member ID to their Blocked Buyer exemption list so that you can go through with the purchase, just assure them that you will not be using a PO box as the delivery address - they may or may not respond favourably, but it's worth a shot if you can't get the buy and checkout process to function any other way.
