I try to use as few key words as possible.
But remember, sometimes sellers can't spell a particular word or might spell it differently, and so items can be under headings you might not expect.
For a kaftan, I would try kaftan, caftan and maybe top or dress with it.
Not cool top.
If there is a brand you prefer, you could type that in, too.

I would look under Tunic as well . Agree you need to search under both spellings of Kaftan.
Good luck!

When I look for clothing, I tend to use a couple of primary keywords to cover colour or pattern, type and style (and by style I mean anything from things like babydoll, a-line, empire to fashion styles like goth, steampunk etc). If there are too many results I use the menu refinements for other things (length, sleeve style and size - though I usually select a couple of things from each menu, eg sizes 12-16 plus L and XL).
Looking at your items, I would recommend including keywords like floral, leopard print, tropical, zebra stripe, tie dye etc, for all the relevant items.

For clothes I rarely use keywords when searching, I usually search by size then refine from menu options. Perhaps give some of the sizes as fit up to 4XL (or whatever) as many people use thst rather than an actual size.
Incidentally I have been thinking of you every Tuesday for the last three weeks, have started going swimming and have worn one of your shorter kaftans over my cossie on the way there, much admired by my friends but I haven't persuaded them to buy, probably the cost of postage to the UK but I will keep trying!
