When temptation beckons......

We've all experienced it.

I've spend some crazy money over the years and unless the item was not what was advertised or arrived damaged, I can't say I have ever suffered buyer's remorse.  I've also got a bit more discerning over the years.

Today there's a new listing in my regular searches.  It's a collectable sketch card.  It's by my favourite artist.  It's $100 plus postage.

I am so tempted but it's a ridiculous amount of money.  Last week a rare Barbie designer outfit came up for sale.  It was even more expensive.  Thank goodness it wasn't complete (a shoe was missing) so I was able to let it go.

Anyone else fought - and maybe lost - against temptation?

Yes I have and I have kept the item but I'm a bit angry because I bought it around 5 years ago at market value so you would think that

it has gone up in value over the years and yes it has but there are sellers out there selling the same item for next to nothing.

And it's happening often therefore devaluing the item and when that happens then buyers expect to get it cheap which sux lol.
