Who pays for return postage for a "not as descibed item"

Is there a law in Australia that covers this.?

And would it apply to Ebay , PayPal or credit card , and would it cover purchases in Australia and overseas.

Hi , i was registered for refunded returns , but i didn't have to return the item.

Full refund and still got the goods----go figure!

Yes, please… and of course provide tributes of Belgian chocolate…

With PayPal returns, you as the buyer are responsible for the returning the item (usually), but as long as you’re signed up for PayPal’s “funded returns” option, postage cost (capped to a certain amount - quite generous)  will be covered by PayPal.

It seems that your phone call to PayPal resulted in a discretionary decision that you wouldn’t need to return the item. That does happen occasionally.

Happily, it has all worked out for you.
