About 5 or 6 weeks ago I tried to creat another Saved Search but I received an eBay message saying that I had reached the maximum number of Saved Searches and that I should delete some if I wanted to creat new Saved Searches.
No problem - I can do that and I did so.
Still the same message.
Delete some more.
Same message!!!
Delete them all (stupid move).
STILL THE SAME MESSAGE!!! #^@&!!!
No problem I will report the problem and eBay will fix it.
Wrong!!!
Many reports later it is STILL not fixed.
It is just a simple coding error that should be easy to fix but ???
It is not one of life's big issues but ...

I can't really help in regards to an eBay tech issue, but until they fix it, the only workaround I can think of is to edit an existing search (if no longer required) to the new search you would like to save.

Are you using windows 8, if so, there is your problem. It will not allow you to create saved searches. some kind of compatibility issue i think.

Yes, I am using Win 8.
Until about 6 weeks ago I had no problem with Saved Searches then I received the " You have reached the maximum number of searches you can save. Please replace an existing search or delete a search in My eBay and try again."
I did as recommended and deleted a few seraches - still receving the same message.
Foolishly I deleted ALL my saved seraches - still receving the same message.
Eventually I contaced eBay and received a sort of reply which said:
"Thanks for your email about saving an item on Saved Search.
I have checked on your account and I can see that there are no saved searches as you have mentioned that you deleted all in order for you to save new searches.
Good to now Ray that you have done trouble shooting, I suggest if you can also try to use another browser like Firefox, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.
As I have further checked on your account, there are no account issues that would hinder you in saving some searches so if still you encounter the same issue, please take a screen shot of the error message and send it to us so we can escalate it to our Technical Support and investigate on the situation.
Thank you for your cooperation Ray and if you need any more help please let us know. Thanks for choosing eBay.
Warm regards,
Faith U."
I did as recommended with fresh installs of Firefox and Chrome - the #$%& issue remains!!!
More messages to eBay - same sort of reply!!!
**bleep**????
Anyone got any real ideas????
