Well this is like my 3rd ebay forum post in just a few days (good to learn from experiences)
Anyways -Today after debating long and hard and after watching an item for a week i finally decided to bid on it. I increased my max bid at the very end just incase and I Won the Auction. I was quite happy about this as it was for a voucher and i was to be saving myself $40, can't complain about that!
I had some minor hassles with my pay pal acc and was unable to pay right away so as a courtesy i messaged the seller to inform them of this, a short time afterI was finally able to pay and did so.
then a few hours later I reviieve a message requesting my bank details as they said they sold it on gumtree yesterday and forgot to cancel the auction. The price she mentioned in the email for the refund was not the price i paid So in my response I corrected them on this and told them to refund via my payment method, i also expressed my dissapointment.
I then checked my pay pal account and discovered she had actually refunded me already, but failed to let me know.
I now have to wait 3-4 Business days to get that money back
Now Ebay is notifying me that i have 1 unpaid item, which is this voucher.
Although the seller is clearly new and has no feedback, i am extremely dissapointed. When i sell stuff on ebay i commit to doing so. I don't list them elsewhere.
Just the other day I myself made a mistake with my Listing but was a lot more apologetic and to my suprise the byer still leftme postive which i was eternally greatful for.
I am a strong beleiver in feedback letting a persons feedback paint a picture of what kind of seller they are. If they are going to sell stuff on ebay whilst also having it on gumtree then i feel that buyers need to be aware that any listings they have up may be canceled.
I have advised the seller to cancel the transaction on ebay, but if that does not happen, what do i do?
I feel it be fair that ipossibly leave Neautral Feedbad
Just want to know others thoughts and opinions?
