Gooday.
Put in a bid.
Used a comma instead of a decimal point.
Bid now $2100+ when it should only have been $21+
What do I do.?
Dont want to get in touch with overseas seller in case he/she gets a friend to bid higher.
Is there any way I can resolve this - or wait until the sale time ends.??
Does the seller have any way to know if I have made a large error??
Thank you.
Stationary.

the seller will not know how much you have bid.
If there is more than 12hours remaining on the auction you can retract your bid. Make a note of the item number and then go to the bids page, at the bottom is
Click on the "Learn more" link and you will be taken to an eBay page. Towards the bottom of that page is a link to the bid retraction form. Click that link and input the item number and choose a reason for the retraction and submit the retraction.
alternatively, make a note of the item number and click on this link http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?RetractBidShow

Always use a fullstop in a price not a comma, as they don't register to seperate dollars n cents.
Better still . . . .
when bidding whole dollar amounts like twenty one dollars, enter $21 and not $21.00
. . . . . . zero chance of getting a comma and a full stop mixed up.
