address for seller for return of goods

Hi, I have contacted the seller to advise that I wish to return items that are not as described (probably through no fault of the seller), btu I am unable to read the handwriting of the seller on the label on the envelope.

They are in France, and I have tried to read the address, and can't. I have tried to find the address by using the French White Pages reverse find with the contact number the seller has put on the parcel label, but have had no luck there either.

Am I able to ask for the seller's address from you, or do I have to contact the seller. I have just written a message to them, but didn't add that I need them to write their address in a message so that I can read it.

If you want to return the item to the seller you should open a dispute in paypal...you will be given the correct and only address that you should use to return the item.

If you do it any other way you risk not getting your refund.

I'd ask the seller for the correct address. 

Just be aware that for full protection, it is sometimes advisable to open a PayPal dispute and conduct the returns process via PayPal (after contacting the seller and discussing options etc), because if you send an item back and something goes wrong, you may not be eligible for Buyer Protection if you have already sent the item back, even if you used a fully trackable service.
