If you have had a transaction with them they can still message.
In every ebay message is a report this message link if it turns nasty or abusive.
ebay can then take action.

I am not surprised that the seller is annoyed with you. The item is listed as pick up only. By paying with paypal you have voided paypal protection for both you and the seller.
You have no way of making a claim if the item is not as described and the seller is wide open to a claim of non receipt.
Maybe if you apologise to the seller and explain that you made a mistake she just may leave you alone.

You bought the item for free local pick up and the seller needn't accept a paypal payment. She is right to ask for cash when you have inspected the item when you pick it up.
The seller has good feedback apart from yours but mostly as a buyer. Maybe you are over reacting a little bit? Maybe that is why she messaged you again.

Ummm, I am pretty sure that the seller does need to accept a paypal payment if that is their stipulated safe payment method and the buyer wants to pay that way.(for sales on eBay)
Every seller on eBay must accept one of either PayPal, Paymate or Merchant credit Card, that is non negotiable. They can also opt to accept other payment methods as well, but they cannot exclude the acceptance of one of the "big three".
The issue that PayPal does not offer protection for either party is irrelevant.
Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

But why would any seller want to accept a payment method that has no protection for either party?
For that matter why would the buyer want to pay by a method that gives them no protection?
For the record, the seller does offer paypal, but they are also allowed to say that cash on pickup after inspectiong the item is preferable.
