Was it pick up or did you pay for delivery on the same invoice you paid for the item through?

If it was pick up you have no recourse, anything purchased pick up is sold as is just the same as if you bought it at a garage sale or out of a local classified ad.

If you paid for delivery and the item together with Paypal is it less than 45 days since you purchased? If it is then you can open a dispute but will have to pay the cost of return by a fully trackable method.

If it is longer than 45 days then your only recourse is if you funded the payment with a credit card, you can then ask your bank about a chargeback althiugh the same return obligation will apply.

If you purchased from an Australian registered business with an ABN then you can contact Fair Trade.
