I was interested in buying some deodorant sprays, but I was not sure if it was prohibited to be mailed overseas to Australia or not. Does anyone know if there is a restriction or not?

You can't send anything in an Aerosol can overseas. They are classified as dangerous goods.

Do you mean you want to buy it from overseas?
If you do, then it is up to the seller to know if they can send it from their country...it is the rules of the postal system of the country of origin that must be followed.
You could try checking with Australian Customs to see if there is any restriction on importing the item.

Thanks, guess I will ask the seller before I actually make the purchase!

If the seller has the item listed for sale worldwide then you can assume that it can be sent from that country.
If the seller finds she cannot send it then she will just refund your payment.
However, it is up to you to know whether you can bring the items into Australia. If it is an illegal import then it will not be allowed in and you will lose your item and the money. The seller has no obligation to know this.
