Hi all,
i made a mistake leaving feed back and chose the negative instead of positive feedback. The seller has contacted me asking why, and i want to be able to fix this mistake i have made.
Any help?

From a buyers perspective, we have never been able to change feedback given to a seller without a Feedback Revision Request from the seller.
Any time I have requested ebay to do anything about changing feedback I have been told in no uncertain terms that they will not/cannot change it.
I have however managed to have feedback reinstated when a seller had it removed.
It seems that any action by ebay in regards to feedback depends entirely on who you speak to. If you don't get the action you want, keep trying until you get a staff member who will do it.

Contact eBay, tell them you've made a mistake and ask them to remove the negative feedback.

Ask the seller to send a request to revise the feedback and you can then change it to what you want. Request Feedback Revision

It is better to have the feedback removed by the buyer. A feedback revision will leave the seller with a defect.

Really? A defect for evised feedback? I looked at the `defect` list, but didn`t see that! Wow!

Sorry, not a defect for the revision, but a defect for the original neg.
It is still unclear on which transactions will have defects removed so it is better for the seller if the buyer requests feedback removal because that apparently removes the defect.
Note: If the buyer changes or removes negative or neutral Feedback, it is no longer visible to others, but any transaction defect related to the Feedback may still impact your seller performance.

It is 50/50 with this. The scum bags at eBay CS sometimes tell buyers to ask the seller for a feedback revision and say it can't be done, other times they do it.
