hows this?
I purchased three items from a seller. listing states its to be sent via aust post.
seller states that it was sent via fastway.
tracking number doesnt work. seller said they would look in to it
no response from seller
i contact seller, they said that they didnt send the item as one was faulty, and was waiting for new stock.
I told them to send the other two. they said they sold those two and now have none in stock.
I asked for a refund. no response.
I put through a paypal claim.
they said they cannot process the paypal claim until i cancel the transaction.....
I cannot understand some sellers!

They don't process the claim - Paypal does.
Escalate to a dispute. They have 10 days to provide proof of postage; you will be refunded after that. If they give Paypal a bodgy tracking number, ring Paypal and they will probably close the case and refund you straight away.
Do not agree to a cancellation. The seller is trying to get their sale fees back. Imo, they have done the wrong thing and deserve to make a loss on the transaction.

What Dave said.
it is unbelievable that they would then onsell your other two items. They were yours!!!
When you get your money back, make a note of who they are so you never buy from them again.
