eBay mobile version has no options to refine search

As of today I found using the mobile version (as opposed to full desktop version) on my mobile device that I can no longer refine search results to sort by cheapest or best match etc, nor can I select item location, condition etc.

Anyone else have this problem? Used to be able to do it top right and left under the search bar (refine and sort by) but now gone. Very hard to use the web version on a phone and no I don't have a computer.

Had the same issue when I tried viewing an item I bought that was still listed (seller had several) and it said click here to view the one you bought, did that and it said the device is no longer supported.

Are they trying to drive everyone to use the app?

I just checked my phone and the option to "sort" or "filter" is still there. When did you update the app last? I'm not sure when I updated last, some time in the last few weeks I think.

Tippy I don't use the app. I have it on there. Don't really like it.

I'm talking about using safari (browser on iPhone) and going to the eBay website, as a default it accesses the mobile version and yesterday I could refine, today I can't seem to. Also when viewing an item the view goes to full desktop view rather than staying on the mobile view which is easier to use on a small screen.

i think it's probably best practice on a mobile to use the app anyway. the mobile version of the website is going to not necessarily function correctly or have the full features that the app has because the mobile website is going to have to fit all sorts of different mobile operating systems, screen resolutions and the like. 

i know it doesn't help with the question - and i can't help with a response for safari since i don't use it - but overall, i'd recommend using the mobile app when using a mobile to view ebay as it simply has heaps more functionality.

If I had to pick between them I actually prefer the views and functionality of the mobile version over the app hence not really using the app much. If I can't refine results by the web version though, I guess I may have to cross to the dark side and start getting used the app.
