If you paid as a guest through Paypal with your credit card, then you paid with Paypal. You will need to open a Paypal account before you open a dispute, too. Very few sellers accept credit card payments directly, and you would have to contact the seller to give them the card details if they did.
You've already been advised in your other thread to wait a reasonable time for your CPU to turn up before opening a dispute. There are many reasons why a seller can be deregistered - one of them is not paying their fees, which often occurs around this time of the month. As soon as they pay (if that's the case) their account will be reinstated.

There are 3 ways of paying through PayPal :
1. Directly from your bank account.
2. By Credit/Debit card.
3. From your PayPal account balance.
If you don't have a PayPal account then you would have paid as a guest user. Some sellers have Merchant Credit Card facilities where you contact them directly and give them your Credit Card details.

Did you go through the eBay checkout and select to pay by credit card, and do you have an email receipt for the payment? (more specifically, did you receive an email receipt from PayPal?)
If the payment was made using a credit card during the eBay checkout, it may have still been processed by the PayPal gateway.

By chance do you mean you've received an email that looks like a receipt for an eBay item or similar, that you definitely never purchased or paid for?
If so, it is most likely a scam email, designed to get you to click on the links and "log in" to either your eBay or PayPal account, but in reality it will be a link to a fake site that allows a scammer to get your login details. To know for sure, go to PayPal directly (not from email links), log into your account and check the transaction history.
If that's not it, is there any other information you can provide about the issue to help the members provide the right advice?
