ebay not giving me my refund

I bought an item for $460 on 16/3/16 paid through PayPal. By 30/3/16 I still hadn't received it so raised a request through ebay. No response from seller after 6 days so asked ebay to step in. Received automated response saying someone would be in contact in 48 hours. Been 5 days now and no communication from ebay. Sent request to ebay to ring me. Got an email after 10 minutes saying the number I gave them was incorrect (not true) and they couldn't call me. Have sent 3 mesages to ebay and no one is getting back to me. What do I do?? I really need my money back.

It might take longer than 5 days so you need to wait a bit longer for ebay to investigate it.

But with items not received it's better to open a case through PayPal in the future as they deal quicker with it.

For INR cases ebay offer a higher protection level than Paypal so it is best to open the cases through ebay. Ebay require proof of delivery where as Paypal only require proof of postage.

boreeng - I would be ringing ebay rather than waiting for them to get back to you.
