I assume you are trying to make a payment? Through Paypal? If so, you need to talk to Paypal, or wait a little while to see if it settles down (and that it hasn't already gone through). If not, I have no idea.

I hope you only made one attempt to pay... If you google "error code 70049" you will get a lot of results, including several threads on the PayPal website about the issue.
Generally, it's a PayPal glitch where the payment looks like it hasn't gone through, but could actually be processed several times. The seller may or may not receive the payment(s), but if they do it is best for them to wait for whatever action PayPal will take.

As a general rule with Paypal or any other site where you are making a payment if you get an error code before completion you should never try and make the payment again, unless the site specifically tells you that the payment has failed, without checking your Paypal account, credit card or bank statement to make sure the payment hasn't gone through, often it has especially with Paypal.

Must have been a pay pal glitch as i don't have a pay pal account and pay with credit card only. Payment went through eventually, once only, and the seller updated me all the way through which was very reassuring.
