finding old listing for item for sale

Good afternoon all, approximately 12 months ago I bid on an item that was passed in , I did not pursue the item as at the time it could have been useful, but more money than I intended to spend. Well things have changed now and the item in question would in fact be quite desirable. Is there any archive system in "Ebay" that will allow me to go back that far and see if I can locate the seller and see if the item is still available ? Any advice would be apreciated.

the only thing I can think of is to go back through your emails and see if there is an eBay "Item ending soon" type email in your inbox for that item.

That will give you the sellers ID
