how come sellers are quick to take funds but so slow to fix problems

i buy some teeth whiting stuff for wife, from  Victory i am in QLD after a week i ask the seller wheres my item'. He say ring the Post Office check this number on po site.

 PO tells me cant tell you a thing there are a buniness customer.

Anyway paid for it on 18th and its the 30th and i have to wait for the PO to check it out will take 10 days sellers says.

And does not return mail now.

so i used paypal is that the best place to start

The seller is correct. Australia Post quote 10 days to investigate missing parcels. There is nothing more the seller can do until they hear back from Australia Post.

As you paid with Paypal open an Item Not Received case if it makes you feel safer. You can escalate it to a claim if the parcel is definitely missing or cancel it if the parcel arrives.

Did you go online and check the tracking number they gave you?

That will atleast show you if it has been lodged with Aus Post.
