How can you be beaten in the last second after holding the bid for seven hours. what and how do you keep the bid on top, there was no indication that someone else had bid even 2 seconds before the end... please tell me how to do this or is it a scam very **bleep** off....

a lot of buyers use Auction Sniper software.....
auto bid with a max price bid .....
no need to watch auction or even be online ...

Your bid will stay on top if it is the highest even if someone else bids at the very last moment.
It can be cold comfort but comfort nonetheless that when you are snipped you were never going to win anyway as your bid was simply too low.

there is only ONE way to get your bid to 'stay o n top' and that is to bid more money than anyone else.
no mattr when the bid is placed, first day, last day or last second, the bid with the most dollar value will always win.
obviously someone bid in the last seconds who was willing to pay more than you were willing to pay.

If someone bids in the final seconds, you will be advised, by email and on the listing page, although, unless you have a bid cued up and ready, it'll probably be too late to act.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. The countdown timer, which has been around for two or three years now, makes it easy.
