how to change a maximum bid

how do i change a maximum bid . I recently put in a bid on a itum . The bid was $50 and the maximum was suppose to be the same $50 . Unfortunatly I entered $5,000 by putting the commar in the wrong place and only relised the mistake the next day . How can I change it .

Don't use commas, they don't register. You need to use a fullstop in a price.

That is why it's 5000.

Click on the number of bids in the listing and go to the bottom, there is a link called "learn more" on retractions.

Retract the bid and re-enter the correct amount using, 50.00

Click on bids on the item & go to bid retraction.

DO NOT use commas when you rebid....only a full stop.
