i made a purchase I dont want, how do i retract the purchase

Legally, you can't.

However, you could message the seller and explain your situation and ask if they would consider a cancellation, They might, They might not. But if they don't agree, then you need to pay. When you purchased that item you entered into a legally binding contract.

have you paid for it yet?  How did you pay (if paid)? When did you buy it?  Was it an auction or Buy-It-Now item?  Have you contacted the seller yet?  What is your reason for not wanting it anymore e.g. change of mind, someone else bid on my account, can't afford it ?

I ask these questions as the answers will help us give better advice.
