item ment to be in NSW but really in China - wouldn't have ordered it if known

I needed an item by the 29th of Nov. Seller stipulated location as NSW and deleivery on or before 29th. Great i thought!

Was given tracking number for EMS and it only got posted from CHINA on the 30th!

is there no rules against given false and misleading info? i would have ordered same product for same price from someone else had i known. i needed it for the weekend just passed. item still not arrived and not happy.

i imagine this warrants a reg fb yeah?

It is called misrepesentation of item location and is against eBay's policies, thus is also reportable. The only thing is eBay may or may not do anything about it if/when you report it.

Just as an aside, the delivery estimates in listings (the ones in the postage and payments section), are put there by eBay and aren't any kind of guarantee by anyone, least of all the seller. I'm not saying that to excuse the seller, just mentioning it because no seller has control over that and personally, as a seller, I wish either eBay wouldn't put them there, or I had the option not to display them.
